Fix Refrigerator Leaking Water from Door
Problem 1 Check the door seal of your refrigerator. Clean the door seal of fridge with cloth and if you found loose ends, make sure to fix it.
Door Seal can be the reason for leaking water on floor, because when water moisture stuck to door they form water droplets and start’s dripping down from door walls to the floor. Door seals prevent dripping of water to floor.
Also you have to check whether your fridge door is closing properly on its own. If not, make sure your fridge is lean back properly until the door shuts securely. So you don’t get condensation forming that can drip water on floor and make a puddle.

Fix Refrigerator Leaking Water from Freezer
Problem 3 The last thing to check leak of water in refrigerator, is the Freezer.
In the freezer the water form into the ice and after some period refrigerator automatically melts that ice. So this melting ice is directed to drip to the drip pan at the bottom of the fridge.
But in some cases this the passage or the drain tube towards drip pan is fractured, so due to that water is not able to drip into the pan but it leaks and comes out on kitchen floor.
In other cases it is noticed that the drain tube towards drip pan is proper but even though the water leaks. That’s because of the design of refrigerator & also due to refrigerator leaning forward.
Here’s how to fix it.
Take all the accessories from the refrigerator out and remove the control panel. At the back side of control panel, you can see where water supposed to drip into the channel.
Make sure if there is no problem in the drip channel (You can check it by taking drip channel to the faucet and fill water inside the channel. If water inside the channel easily comes out there is no issue).
At the bottom of the drain tube there is p-trap and that’s where most problem occurs.
On the back side of your refrigerator there is plastic drain tube turns into a flexible rubber p-trap which goes into the defrost drip pan.
Remove the flexible tube and clean it (To clean the flexible rubber tube rinse it with water & make sure all dust or other particle is been removed).
Further to clean more properly, take a piece of flexible wire and run it through the drain tube (We ran this wire inside the drain tube to clean it properly and for making sure if there is nothing stuck in between).
Now put the rubber tube back in its position.
Here’s now water will stop leaking and your problem is solved.
